Progress Report – August 2020

Friends,
Here are some updates,news items and resources from our research and outreach since our last progress report.

1. Update on Friends House. We now have all three bedrooms filled, providing secure housing for three individuals! They appreciate so much moving into a furnished house. I wish you could see their faces to get the impact of your contributions to them! Three is a good start…now we are ready to receive another house either as a donation or as a responsibility to find and manage tenants. Bring it on!!
2. Mike Cook is housed! Many people around Astoria have met Mike during the almost four years that he was homeless in a wheelchair on the streets of Astoria. He has at last found affordable housing at Cedar Sinai Park building in downtown Portland! Cedar Sinai Park…..
