- Seaside In the News. 8-KGW News aired this segment entitled, “Seaside grapples with high rates of homelessness on the Oregon Coast.” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zsYmUZRJGU4
- Astoria “Round Up” charity for March. Friends of the Unsheltered was selected by the Astoria Co+Op as the Round Up charity for March. You can support both the Co+Op and Friends of the Unsheltered by shopping during March and saying “Yes” to rounding up your bill to the nearest dollar!
- Astoria Heritage Square Housing Proposal. The Astoria City website includes this notice, “City Council approved an Exclusive Negotiating Agreement with Edlen & Co. at the February 22, 2022, City Council meeting. This agreement allows the City and Edlen & Co. to negotiate the proposed development of Heritage Square. The Open Houses will offer the community an opportunity to provide comments regarding redevelopment concepts as presented at each open house…
