Progress Report 8/06/2019

This past month, we have continued to focus on identifying potential sources of funding and related start-up essentials for the drop-in Resource Center. (1) We met with Jessica Newhall at SBDC who pointed us to a template for developing a Business Plan. We shared our first draft with her and received some suggestions for strengthening it. We are now working on draft #2 which focuses more on specific strategies for fund raising. (2) We are looking more closely at two potential locations for the drop-in Resource Center. We are doing all the footwork and “due diligence” to see what is feasible. To move forward with either of these locations requires that we must have a secure source of funding lined up. <read more…>
