Warming Center – Letters of Support

The Astoria Warming Center is scheduled to present on June 25th at the Planning Commission public hearing for the extension of AWC’s Conditional Use Permit. The meeting starts at 6:30pm at City Hall. Since there are no changes in operation of the Warming Center this past season, we expect that extension of the Conditional Use Permit will be approved. However, it wouldn’t hurt to present letters of support from the community indicating the importance of this program to the health and well-being of Astoria. <read more…>
