Clatsop Community Action

On July 17, 2019 then Interim Executive Director Viviana Matthews (now Executive Director) presented an overview of CCA’s contribution to the county at the Clastop County Countywide Advisory Committee meeting. It occurred to me as a wonderful description of the depth and breadth of the fantastic support CCA contributes to so many people.

During the Question & Answer period apparently one of the participants (without a microphone so it’s inaudible in the recording) apparently asked a question about “the gaps.” Viviana responded:

…I can tell you a number of people that come into our office and were not able to be receiving services because of lack of funding or lack of opportunity and it’s about 30 percent. —Viviana Matthews
